Mirror mirror

Just watched mirror mirror, after getting over Lily Collins' scary bushy eyebrows (note, I say scary because had I not plucked an awful shape in my eyebrows a matter of years ago, mine would look like hers, and I got bullied for having such dark eyebrows particularly ones that looked like slugs) I actually liked this film, however you must watch it without thinking of Disney's Snow White, the basic story is there but the screenplay, detail and storyline is impressive (I'm holding back from saying pretty good or amazing because I was brought up on Disney and I love it) it's definitely a film to watch and I'd be happy to watch it again.

Oh hey there

I guess I should start with a simple introduction, considering I've never blogged before so I'm not too sure as to how to start. I guess I'll start with some background information, I'm 21 (22 in February) student at Anglia Ruskin in my final year studying Early Education and Childhood Studies (it's more political than you would think) I guess you could say the course has made me a bit of a Marxist/Socialist but that's not what makes a person right?

Of course I do love doing all things girly, typically I love shopping (when I have money), make up and just generally looking and feeling good, where unlike today I felt neither of those things. To spell it out I worked my damn a$$ off with my assignments this semester and didn't quite get the grades I wanted so I feel pretty disappointed in myself right now, but there is still time to turn it around.

Apologies for being a pessimist on my first blog, things can only get better, right?
